Well Dad and I went to Turf but they have a new owners for there dinning room. Its called Home Stretch. They have been redesigned as a college feel. Like sports place. Love the Atmosphere. The Staff are very friendly. They make you feel at home. Dad got The Straight Up Burger and I got the Sweet & Spicy Popcorn Shrimp. The food was so good, Not Pricey at all. One of the best we got to so far.

Ribs are alright, a little dry and over sauced for my taste. The fries and slaw were very good and the server was very pleasant and attentive.

This is "The Rib Room" but they only have two rib entrees on the menu? I had the Barbecue Chicken. Best I can say is yuck. I was served an undercooked half baked chicken with some bland off the shelf barbecue sauce slobbered on top. Yuck. Based on that experience I can't recommend this place.

This experience was wonderful and deserves each and every star! 1 star for...making us feel welcome when we walk into the restaurant at 9:30 on a Sunday night when they close at 10 PM. We didn't feel like we were being rushed or causing them any issues by coming in close to when they would be closing for the evening. And to find a nice restaurant that is open this late until 10 PM...bonus! 2nd star...Maci was a wonderful server from beginning to end. The other staff also pitched in to bring food to the table. It had the "team" feel and that was impressive to me. 3rd star...cream of crab soup that was amazing! 4th star...broiled scallops that were done just right, very flavorful and no skimping on quantity either. 5th star...clean restaurant, temperature was not too hot, not too cold, and the overall feel of being there was just relaxing and inviting all at the same time. I recommend this restaurant with two thumbs up, five stars, and a happy belly! =)

The waitress was awesome! The crab soup was up there with the best I've ever had. (Slightly over salted) We also had the crab ball appetizer which was excellent!

This review applies to breakfast. Buyer beware! I met my grown kids at the Turf Rib Room for breakfast on New Year's Day. The kids got there before me and met me in the parking lot to tell me that my money would be taken for the buffet on my way in the door (buffet sight unseen). The $8.00 buffet was actually the hotel's complimentary buffet for its guests. I was glad the kids warned me, so when I encountered the hostess I immediately asked for a breakfast menu. I ordered breakfast from the menu and it was not bad, but the coffee was terrible! In the meantime, my kids who arrived before me were eating bland, lukewarm food from paper plates and drinking bad coffee from styrofoam cups! It's a scam to sell the complimentary breakfast to non-guests (for 8 bucks!) and request payment before they see what they're getting into. Not recommended, and I will not return.

Very nice, not too dressy atmosphere--food is delicious and well-priced (with specials on Saturdays, which is cool)-kitchen is open til 10, full menu at the bar even. We ordered the half-rack of ribs ($14) and the bread bowl of MD Crab soup ($don't know yet)-he liked the ribs (they looked tastin') and the spice of the soup rocked, but there wasn't much crab at all (womp). Service was outstanding, they brewed fresh coffee for me--they only have IPA on tap which is exciting, but many bottles(wide range) of beer... Live music on Saturday night and she's really good... What else, what else... Jason told me to mention beers are cheap ($4 for Stella bottle)... That's probably enough. Check it out :)

We have went in a couple times, and always late it seems. We typically go downstairs to the bar area and order food and drinks. The food has always been good and the service is great.

My wife and I have been here several times. The service has always been great, and the food is excellent. Easily the best restaurant in Charles Town.
